Potomac advises the sale of SFAN, a CDMO leader in liquid food supplements

Based in Normandy, the SFAN laboratory was taken over in 2015 by Michel Brémont. It has established itself as a French leader in the shaping of dietary supplements in liquid galenic forms (ampoules, bottles, shots, etc.), considered the most complex to master due to their instability and organoleptic constraints.

SFAN stands out for its unique expertise in natural ingredients, with proprietary extraction and maceration capabilities, high-performance R&D and industrial excellence. The company launches around 100 new products every year, enabling its customers to differentiate themselves and innovate in their markets. Already well-established in France, SFAN is now stepping up its international expansion, particularly in high-potential Asian markets such as China, which is looking for innovative healthcare solutions.

As part of this drive, SFAN is opening up its capital to Vivalto Partners, a French healthcare fund with over 750 million euros under management, in order to accelerate its development along two axes:

Organic growth, by strengthening its sales capabilities and making targeted investments in its industrial facilities;
External growth, to build a European leader in shaping in a market that is still highly fragmented and in an active phase of consolidation.
