Based in Toulouse and founded in 1990 by Alain Leonard, Teknimed is a manufacturer of synthetic cements and bone substitutes for orthopedic surgery.
In 2015, the founder wanted to hand over the reins to his daughter, Carole Leonard, and instructed Potomac to manage the reorganization of the capital.
Employing 50 people, with revenues growing by 10% to 15% per year, strategic and financial potential buyers were particularly interested in capitalizing on the significant growth, both organically and through acquisition.
Apax Partners Development stood out during the auction process, and was chosen as a partner by the Leonard family.
