SUEZ to acquire Industrial Water Management

Industrial Water Management, (« IWM »), a subsidy of BASF, develops and markets technical products and services in France and abroad for cooling circuits, boilers and industrial effluent treatment plants.
In 2011, BASF decided to reposition itself in the production of chemical products and announced its intention to sell its water treatment activities
In 2013, as part of its strategy to further position itself in the water treatment sector, Suez instructed Potomac Transactions to acquire IWM. After negotiations, the offer by Suez to acquire IMW was accepted
